Prague, Czech Republic aka Praha!

We just got back from Prague this last weekend. We went with another couple we have become close with during our short time of living here so far. We went from Thursday until Sunday night. We were successful in drinking lots of Pilsner beer which we will probably never drink again, eating Goulash which I could definitely do without ever again, and Trdelniks which are these cinnamon doughnut treats that were absolutely delicious. This was definitely one of the prettiest cities we have been to so far close behind Edinburgh and Amsterdam. We recommend everyone go and visit Prague one day!

Old Town Square near our hotel...it was great with no cars allowed anywhere!

Our American travel buddies!

Nice hike up to the Prague Castle.

The church right in the center of the Prague Castle...very beautiful!

Tony and Adam hanging with a guard at the Castle.

The guys thinking they are funny...I wouldn't let Tony buy this hat for good reason!

St. Charles Bridge...usually very crowded with people selling all sorts of paintings.

A much needed Pilsner after our hike down from the Castle.

They have their own replica of the Eiffel tower...much smaller!

After our canal tour we stumbled across these cute people that were playing Czech music with all different instruments. They were all taking shots between songs...they played alot of songs!

We decided to join them minus the shots!

Dinner the 1st night in a cave. Great atmosphere but OK food.

Night on the town!

Our 2nd night at this amazing restaurant right on the water. I got a great mushroom risotto/lobster bisque and Tony got a delicious steak You have to go to this restaurant if you are ever in prague!

This was such a great trip and we are really glad we had great friends to travel with to Prague. Our next trip is October fest to meet my parents. We can not wait to see them! Pics to come!

Dublin, Ireland!

After a crazy day of missing our flight to Dublin on Friday, 200 pounds later we got on a Ryan Air flight on that Saturday. We went from Saturday to Monday and it was worth the extra money. We stayed right in the city center which was walking/biking distance to most everywhere. In Europe it is popular to rent bikes and ride around the city (we now have them in London) with bike drop off spots every couple of blocks. Our favorite spot was called Temple Bar. It is a popular area with lots of great pubs and shops. We had a great time!

Trinity College in Dublin!

The "Temple Bar" area that was our favorite!

The actual "Temple Bar" that yes I ordered a bud light only because it was the first one I've seen in Europe!

At the Guinness Brewery...I have to say it wasn't our favorite beer :)

The Guinness Brewery had a 360 degree bar on the top with a view of the whole city.

The "Temple Bar"!

This was quite the hike to get to from the city center of Dublin but it is a "must" visit spot. It is a famous pub with real Dublin live music and atmosphere.

Inside Johnnie Fox's Pub!

The very posh Shelbourne Hotel we did not at in Dublin.

The Best Western Hotel we DID stay at in Dublin...it was actually pretty nice.
