A much needed visit from my parents! We spent a couple days touring around London, a weekend in Cardiff-Wales, and 4 days in Edinburgh, Scotland! We had such a great time and are so appreciative of everything they did for us while they were here. We can't wait until they come back to see us!
We took a trip to Portabello market and mom was in heaven with all the Antiques!
Walked to Buckingham Palace through St. James' Park!
Had to do some shopping while we were here...dad loved this tourist spot :)
We dedicated this photo to my sweet niece Caroline. We were eating in China Town and our dessert was Caroline's favorite...ORANGES! We miss you and Katy Bug!
The Cardiff Castle in Wales. Many of you didn't know this but I am Welsh...can't you tell?
At Cardiff Bay...they are known for their beer called Brains! We are collecting beer mugs from every country we go to. So far Brains beer mug and Tenents beer mug from Scotland!
My mom's favorite part about the whole trip!!! haha! Its a little historic town called St. Fagans. Tony and I put this much lower on our list below golfing and shopping!
Of coarse Tony had to take a picture with a restaurant named after him...notice how elegant it looks!
The Marriott Hotel we stayed at in Edinburgh, Scotland. It was on a beautiful golf coarse!
This is the golf coarse that my dad and Tony played in Scotland...the picture doesn't do justice with how pretty it was.
Our Hotel in Scotland!
The famous bridge on the Old course of St. Andrews golf course! We got to walk the course which was fun!
This was at the Glenkinchie Distillery right outside Edinburgh. Dad and Tony were in heaven. Mom and i would get handed scotch and then hand it off to the boys. Their favorite scotch was Talisker- which had a smoky taste to it.
Walking the famous "Royal Mile"...we did a lot of walking this trip!
Speaking of walking...we hiked up to Arther's Seat and was able to view the whole city of Edinburgh! This was not even half way to the top.
Tony at the highest point of Arther's Seat...it was freezing up here!
We did it! When we got to the top the first thing said by mom was "Im just sick thinking about how i am going to get down this Volcano". Before she went up the Volcano (which is dormant) she asked these 14 year old girls if they saw people their age at the top! haha She made it up and we were so proud! This was my favorite part of the trip!
And we safely made it to the bottom!
And then we had to say goodbye to a great trip!
We love you Mom and Dad! Thanks for coming and let's start planning our next trip! Miss you!
